OCTET 384 SERIES

Protein G Biosensors

The new Protein G biosensor is useful for quantifying numerous species' IgG in the presence of other types of immunoglobulins or protein contaminants. It complements the use of Protein A biosensors due to its high binding affinity for rodent and many other mammalian species’ IgGs which cannot be detected with Protein A. The recombinant form of Protein G used in the biosensor has had the albumin- and cell-surface protein binding domains removed, to eliminate albumin binding interference.

DIP & READ RESIDUAL PROTEIN A ASSAY KIT

The Dip and Read Residual Protein A Detection Kit contains biosensors and all the reagents required to quantitate Protein A, or biosimilars such as MabSelect SuRe, in column fractions. The Dip and Read Residual Protein A Detection Kit provides the sensitivity and accuracy needed for this critical test along with minimal hands-on time and an easy to use protocol.

Anti-Penta-HIS (HIS) Biosensors

The six-histidine or penta-histidine peptide tag (HIS-tag) is a common peptide tag fused to recombinant proteins during cloning. Many tools have been developed enabling the tag to be used for easy detection and purification of tagged proteins. The Anti-Penta-HIS biosensor, for use on the Octet system, now provides a rapid, label-free method for quantification of HIS-tagged proteins. This biosensor comes with the highly specific Qiagen Penta-HIS antibody pre-immobilized on the surface and is ready to use for specific detection and quantitation of HIS-tagged proteins.

  • Question and answer session with one of ForteBio's Octet RED System specialists

NEW BIOSENSORS

The Anti-Human IgG Fc Capture (AHC) biosensor is designed for kinetic characterization of macromolecular interactions between proteins containing an Fc region and a target analyte. This biosensor enables the immobilization of human IgG or other protein containing a human Fc region using a high-affinity anti-human Fc-specific antibody. The biosensor surface has been designed to provide stable interactions and can be regenerated, making it particularly suitable for high-throughput kinetics applications. AHC biosensors can be used with many sample types, including purified proteins and cell culture supernatants.

SUPER STREPTAVIDIN BIOSENSOR

ForteBio's Super Streptavidin Biosensors, in conjunction with the Octet RED System, are designed for kinetic analysis of small protein and/or small molecule interactions.

OCTET SYSTEM IQ/OQ MANUAL

The Octet Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) manual provides the procedures to document and verify that the correct Octet System was ordered, delivered and installed according to ForteBio specifications. ForteBio offers Octet customers the documentation and services needed to assure successful validation of the Octet System. The manual can be ordered as a package with the Compliance Validation Software Module or can be ordered separately.
