2010-May-11, 4:00 PM WEBINAR: Label-free Dip and Readâ„¢ Biosensor Assays for Rapid Small Molecule Screening and Protein Quantitation

http://tinyurl.com/ForteBioMayWebinarPM

During this webinar we will describe why the Octet RED384 system is becoming a popular choice for label-free screening of drug-like leads from ever larger libraries of small molecules and fragments due to its simplicity and other workflow benefits. A technical evaluation based on customer feedback of the Octet RED384 system with respect to data quality, detection sensitivity, reliability, throughput and ease-of-use will be presented. We will also explore use of the Octet system for quantitation of IgGs, HIS tagged proteins, and host cell proteins.

2010-Feb-25, 7:00 AM WEBINAR: Rapid Screening on Label-Free Real-Time Biosensors -- From Crude Antibodies to Small Molecule Fragments

http://tinyurl.com/Feb25WebinarRecording

This webinar discusses how to perform rapid screening of crude antibodies, do antibody pairing studies, epitope binning and mapping, affinity ranking and small molecule and fragment screening, all on the Octet platform. The webinar describes a microfluidics-free approach where biosensors are moved to samples and discuss data generated by drug discovery researchers on Octet systems.

2010-Feb-18 WEBINAR: What's New in Label-Free Quantitation?

http://tinyurl.com/Label-FreeQuantitation

What do the Octet QKe instrument, the Anti-Penta-HIS biosensor, and the Dip and Read Residual Protein A Detection Kit have in common? They are the latest, most exciting offerings in the ForteBio portfolio of products for label-free quantitation. In this webinar, we describe how these new products are making a significant impact in the life sciences by simplifying and accelerating biotherapeutic research.

2009-Nov-12, 8:00 AM Webinar: Label-Free 96- and 384-Well Protein Affinity and Kinetic Measurements: Results in 2 hours

https://fortebio.webex.com/fortebio/lsr.php?AT=pb&SP=MC&rID=34125577&rKey=75f12a01dedd2920

8:00 AM PDT Thursday November 12, 2009
Presented by Krista Witte, Ph.D., Sr Director of Chemistry and Consumables R&D, ForteBio

Learn how you can use the Octet platform to analyze protein and other biomolecular kinetics in an easy to use fluidics-free format. Examples will be given of performing rapid epitope binning experiments, antibody pair selection experiments to aid in assay development, protein kinetics and DNA interaction analysis. A brief overview of how to create customized biosensor surfaces for your favorite molecules will be included. Also discussed will be newly released features to aid in rapid data analysis and visualization of data sets.

2009-Nov-05, 8:00 AM Webinar: Tools for Real-time Bioprocess Monitoring; IgG Titer Determination and Residual Protein A Detection

https://fortebio.webex.com/fortebio/lsr.php?AT=pb&SP=MC&rID=33934617&rKey=9a2dd166457071a2

8:00 AM PDT Thursday November 5, 2009
Presented by Will Riches, Application Scientist, ForteBio

The Octet platform is a novel label-free detection technology enabling quantitation and kinetic analysis of biomolecules including antibodies, proteins, peptides, DNA, and small molecules. This proprietary technology yields accurate, precise data with instantaneous real-time results. In this seminar, we will focus on use of the Octet system for titer determination, clone selection, and cell line development. We will also introduce our latest assay kit, the Dip and Read™ Residual Protein A Detection kit. This kit provides the sensitivity and accuracy needed for quantitation of native and recombinant Protein A and MabSelect SuRe™ in product purified from a Protein A, or similar purification column. Together with the speed of the all new Octet 384 series instrument, it offers a faster time to result than similar ELISA-based methods.

2009-Oct-29, 8:00 AM Webinar: Improving Drug Tolerance and Low-Affinity Anti-Drug Antibody Detection Using the Octet Platform

https://fortebio.webex.com/fortebio/lsr.php?AT=pb&SP=MC&rID=33742932&rKey=d11ad9dc294c3faf

8:00 AM PDT Thursday October 29, 2009
Presented by Armin Spura, Ph.D., Director of Technical Support, ForteBio

Find out how you can use the Octet platform to detect anti-drug antibodies. Our new Dip and Read Immunogenicity Kit offers superb sensitivity and drug tolerance to facilitate detection and characterization of ADA's produced in response to drug administration. It enables detection of low-affinity antibodies that could be missed in ELISA-type assays in both human and animal samples. We'll discuss our innovative, easy to use methods that yield accurate, precise data with instantaneous results.
