All-New Octet Series 6 Software: Enabling High-Sensitivity
Assays and Delivering 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance

The Octet 6.0 software comprises a complete re-write of the data acquisition software to enable an enhanced workflow while supporting a new class of high-sensitivity assays for the Octet RED system. Specifically, the new software allows the user to set up two-step quantitation experiments allowing low nanogram per milliliter sensitivity.

Additionally, the workflow of the data analysis software was streamlined for greater ease-of-use while simultaneously enabling enhanced data-tracking features to more fully support small molecule and fragment screening applications. Finally, tools for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance were fully integrated into the software to support users in a GLP environment.

What more? We’ve been busy writing Octet 6.1 software! The newest version of the Octet software includes all of the great features introduced in version 6.0, and adds full support for 384-well data acquisition and analysis on our all-new Octet RED384 and Octet QK384 instruments.

Version 6.1 Octet software will also be available for all current Octet RED instruments because it includes enhancements to support running enzyme-linked quantitation assays, such as our new Dip and Read Immunogenicity Assay. For data analysis, version 6.1 also includes an all-new heterogeneous ligand 2:1 fitting model and enhanced tools for visually screening data. To top it off, all of these enhancements come with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance tools.
